Villa in Stockholm: a beautiful private house with a facade clad in STONEPANEL™

This private house is located in a charming and quiet place in Stockholm (Sweden). Most of the building is clad in STONEPANEL™, the only natural stone panel certified and guaranteed for outdoor use. This wall cladding system provides warmth and authenticity to the exterior design, completed with a dark timber facade. 

A TIMBER AND NATURAL STONE FACADE FOR A CONTEMPORARY HOUSE

This beautiful dwelling is located in the town of Täby, one of the fastest growing areas in the Stockholm Metropolitan Area in east central Sweden. Our STONEPANEL™ Multicolor has been chosen for cladding the exterior facade of the house. This panel is composed of brown, reddish stones combined with darker and lighter tones. About 170 m² of STONEPANEL™ Multicolor has been installed for exterior cladding, creating an original combination for this contemporary home. 

Panels are “S” shaped to avoid visible joints and available  in a standard measure of 61 x 15.2 cm, with a thickness of 3.5-5 cm. Its patented mechanical anchor, made of stainless steel, enables the installation of the product on surfaces higher than two meters. The strong and uniform cement base ensures adherence and allows piece cutting without risk of detachment.

STONEPANEL™ has been certified by the most prestigious European organizations such as Norway (SINTEF-Technical Approval), Germany (DIBT-ABZ) or the United Kingdom (BBA-Agrément Certificates). 

STONEPANEL™ MATCHES THE HOME’S ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPE

STONEPANEL™ Multicolor has also been used for the garden retaining walls built in front of this house. The exterior terraced walls clad in natural stone matches the home’s architecture and the exterior landscape. Even curved walls have been fitted with STONEPANEL™ thanks to its special pieces available, such as corners, coverings and other complementary solutions.

The Swedish town of Täby is involved in an environmental plan in order to create a green sustainable living. The aim of this plan is to reduce climate impacts, improving healthy green places and good build environments. Our STONEPANEL™ is a natural and sustainable constructive solution. Unlike ceramic materials, no chemicals are used in the natural stone production process.
