Our products come from our own quarries in Spain, France, Portugal, and Brazil, and other countries all over the world, like India, South Africa, and Norway.

CUPA STONE was founded in 2012 as the experts in natural stone. Our professional team has in-depth knowledge of the industry.

Their experience allows them to help you choose the most suitable product for every architecture, decoration, urban planning, or design project.

In Spain, Portugal and France, all our distribution centres share the importance of having the best customer service and the best natural stone products.

Our headquarters in Vigo are home to one of the most important production centres – the Ramilo granite manufacturing centre – and our sales, management and marketing teams.

CUPA STONE is part of CUPA GROUP, a corporation made up of more than 75 companies and subsidiaries that operate in nine countries. Thanks to its 25 quarries, it exports to more than 70 countries all over the world.

1996

Cupa Piedras

Cupa Group began its activity in the natural stone sector with the creation of Cupa Piedras, a company that grouped together the commercialisation of the quartzites produced in three quarries in Villafranca del Bierzo.

1998

Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche Quarry

Cupa Group incorporates the Saint-Yrieix gneiss quarry (France) into its assets, a material that has been exclusively extracted since then

1999

Cupamat

Foundation of Cupa Materiales (Cupamat), a natural stone company whose facilities in Pinto today hold Cupa Stone Madrid. His team developed Stonepanel and pioneered the contracting of laboratory tests to analyse imported stones.

Ramilo

Cupa Group acquires Ramilo, the granite manufacturer located in Vigo. It is considered a pioneering company in the exploitation of granite in Spain since its creation in 1928.

Cantera de Infercoa

Located in Vila Nova de Foz Côa (Portugal), the Infercoa quarry joins the rest of the sites owned by Cupa Group. Today it covers an area of 50,000 square meters.

2004

Stonepanel

Creation of Stonepanel, the only pre-mounted panel made with natural stone certified for exterior wall cladding.

Best SME of the year

The expansion of Cupa Stone in France has been recognised by COCEF (the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in France) with the award of Best SME of the year 2015.
